Design calculation
Faspol designs and manufactures silos and tanks.
We design and manufacture tanks:
- pressure
under harmonized European law (PED Directive)
- non-pressurized
including those used for the storage of hazardous flammable and toxic substances, corrosive substances subject to national law (UDT).
We perform strength calculations using PV Elite and Visual Vessel Design (VVD) software. For design specifications not covered by the above software, we use proprietary spreadsheets. We currently have the IT tools and experience to perform calculations according to the following tank specifications:

In addition, we also perform calculations of pressure elements of pipelines and boilers according to:

If it is necessary to perform calculations for steel structures or to meet the requirements of building regulations, we perform them primarily on the basis of FEM analyses.
We have professional staff and appropriate IT tools enabling us to perform calculations confirming the selection of safety equipment (safety valves) in accordance with EN 4126, WUDT, and other specifications.
As part of the approval of design documentation, if applicable, we cooperate with UDT and UDT CERT.
Project documentation
We have a fully equipped design office enabling us to create complete documentation.
We use Solid Works or AutoCad software to design our devices.
Depending on the customer’s expectations, we provide documentation in electronic or paper form.
